CHASE THE RIVER'S GIANT. We built our fly-fishing expeditions for one kind of traveler: the angler who has dreamed of catching a wild Mongolian taimen.
FISH WHERE OTHERS CAN'T
Travel into protected and licensed waters across Central, Northern, and Eastern Mongolia. Our fishing locations are carefully selected and are not ordinary public fishing grounds.
REMOTE BY NATURE
Reach remote base camps by 4x4 expedition vehicles, or fly directly by private charter for groups of up to six. Far from roads, cities, and crowds — this is where the real expedition begins.
BUILT FOR SERIOUS ANGLERS
Our expeditions are designed for experienced fly fishermen. Taimen flies are provided, with additional fishing equipment available for rental.
PROTECT WHAT YOU CHASE
Every taimen is catch-and-release. We believe the greatest fishing experience is leaving the river as wild as you found it — protecting the fish, the water, and the wilderness for the next expedition.

ALTAI EXPEDITION
A 20-day self-drive expedition into the far western Altai of Mongolia. Take the wheel of your own Toyota Land Cruiser 79 camper and travel with a small convoy of up to five vehicles toward Altai Tavan Bogd, the Five Sacred Peaks, Potanin Glacier, Khurgan and Khoton Lakes, and the remote country surrounding them. Drive mountain tracks, cross rivers, climb into high country, camp beside alpine lakes and wake up to landscapes that change with the weather. This is not a fixed sightseeing tour. Routes move with the mountains, weather and conditions on the ground. You drive. The mountains make the rules.

Gobi Desert Expedition
A 14-day self-drive expedition across the wild Gobi Desert. There is no fixed tourist route. We move through the Gobi according to the terrain, conditions, and places worth stopping for — seeking remote valleys, open desert, rock formations, dunes, wildlife, and landscapes far from the usual tourist circuit. EASTERN STEPPE EXPEDITION
Self-drive expedition across the vast eastern country of Mongolia. Drive from Ulaanbaatar through Khentii and the lands connected to Chinggis Khaan, follow the Onon River into Onon-Balj National Park, cross the eastern steppe toward Choibalsan and the great Menen Steppe, then continue to Buir Lake and Khalkhgol — where the landscape carries the memory of one of the most important battles fought in Mongolia. Along the way, camp beside rivers and lakes, cross open steppe, follow remote tracks, meet nomadic families, explore historical sites and spend nights in places where the horizon seems to have no end. For days, the horizon is bigger than the road.

KHUVSGUL Lake EXPEDITION
A self-drive expedition into the northern wilderness of Mongolia Take the wheel of your own Toyota Land Cruiser 79 camper and travel in a small convoy of up to five vehicles from the shores of Khuvsgul Lake deep into the taiga, mountains and remote northern country. Camp beside one of Mongolia's great freshwater lakes, drive forest and taiga tracks, cross rivers, explore the remote Khoridol Saridag range, and travel deep into the country of reindeer herders and nomadic families. There are no hotels. No ger camps. No fixed tourist circuit. Just your camper, the forest, the lake, and a long way north. The farther north you drive, the quieter it gets.
